BAKTI DESA 2015!!! AMAZING

Hello guys!! Today I wanna tell you but my short holiday with my school friends. In december 2015, We as grade 11 students would take a short routinty in the village. The routinty was called “Bakti Desa”. Every year, all student of 11 grade will take a place in this activity. The village that we visited is Ds. Sukapura, Kab. Bandung.  We would stay at that village about 4 days 3 nights.

In the first day, we gathered ini SMAN 3 at 7 o’clock. We moved with our class to the transportation car. Ohiya.. We used the military truck, I felt so  amazing because it was my first time going to a far place with military truck. We left the shcool. We took about 2 hours for arriving at the village. Along trip right?... At 9 o’clock, we arrived at the place, Ds. Sukapura. WAW!!!!! Only that word can I said to describe the environment. This is the village with a fresh air, no pollution, so many garden with a fresh green colour, and of course the beautifull scenery.  I felt very proud to be here.

When the truck stopped, we moved to Sukapura hall and carried our lugagge. We got the welcoming tradition from the head of the village. After that, we had lunch together. At 12 o’clock, we moved to our family house. We all already separated in to many groups. In my group there were 4 girls, which are Adri, Aldita, Felia and of course I. We are so lucky bacause we got the nearest village from the Sukapura Hall, the village named was Sukamaju. But the bad things was ... Our home is far, so we have take about 5  minutes walking from the central of sukamaju, but it’s not abig problem.

Arriving in the house, we get acquainted with our foster mom, her named was Bu Elis. After that,we prepared our stuff and had some rest. In the evening, Bu elis gave us the delicious food, there are Chicken, tempe, tahu, and the sauted kole (tumis kangkung). We ate the food. After that, we went to Pa Abun house. Pa Abun was our neighbour. He is so friendly and humorious. We helped Pa Abun for prepare the food that he will sell tommorow in the elementary school. 

Beautifull Scenery

In the second day, we woke up early in the morning, we thought that we can go with Pak Alit ( Bu elis husband) for garderner, but Pa alit said that his garden was so far so we stayed in the home. Suddenly, Pa Abun and Pa Ajun came, they invited us to join walking around the gardens and river. It was the unforgettable experience. In the middle of our trip, we took some avocado. At 12 o’clock, we went back to the home. We prepared for the lunch. But now, we cooked the food. We cooked sardines and carrot soup.

In the third day, we joined  Bu Elis for walking around the village. We walked for an hour and  a half. We went back to the house, we stopped in the garden to try to grow the chives. After that, we went home. We were separated in to 2 groups, one for healty care in Sukapura hall and one  for plant the tree. Our group got the missi for planted the tree. At 1 o’clock, we prepared ourself for go camping in the Mekarsari Village. We went there for do scouting activity. I thought, it was so boring, but we still have to do the activity. Happy news is the bad weather in our village made the scouting activity was cancelled. I’m very happy wkwkwk...

In the evening, all of student in our class  gathered in Thalita’s home. Before arriving in the home, we bought martabak, toast and meatballs. In the thalita’s home, we did MAKRAB “Malam Keakraban”. We shared our experience and also did “Truth and Dare” game. I’m so happy, because I can felt my family around me, I hear the truth opinion about me  from all of my friends, so I can felt that we are more closer. We still  can’t sleep till 2 a.m.  but I fallen sleep because tired. 

Pa Abun and Bu Elis

In the last day, we prepared our luggage for going home. We gave souvenirs for Bu Elis and Pa Alit. The anuxpected thing was.... Our parents gave us so many vegetables, like : carrot, tomato, potatoes, cabbage, etc. I very thankfull for them because we had the unforgettable experience in 4 days. Aftre saying good bye, we went back to Bandung. It was the happiest holiday, I think. Thank you Bakti Desa 2015!!!

Book Review: The Hunger Games "Mockingjay"

Today, I want to complete my task from Mrs. Wiwin. She ask me to make a book review based on the novel or comic. I know, I dont really like read a novel, because its so complicated and we must have free time to read it. But I wanna tell you about one novel that I really like. Hope you enjoy it.

Mockingjay is a 2010 science fiction novel by American author Suzannes Collins. It is the last installment of The Hunger Games, following 2008's The Hunger Games and 2009's Catching Fire. The book continues the story of Katniss Everdeen, who agrees to unify the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannica Capitol.

Katniss Everdeen survived from the Hunger Games for the second times (Quarter Quell). Having passed from the Quarter Quell by rebels of District 13, that  had been considered gone. In District 13, Katniss saved to fulfill the mission of District 13 to attack the Capitol. She trained to be a fighter, rebel, called Mockingjay.

The dissolution of the Quarter Quell, some players held hostage by the capitol, including Peeta Mellark. At that time, Katniss thought that Peeta has died but it didn’t. Peeta is still in the Capitol with evidence displaying it on TV. Katniss  along with other participants of hunger games, intending to save Peeta. It is a given requirement Katniss in Alma Coin, president of District 13, if she wants to help the resistance movement. President Coin agreed and gave assistance to Katniss. Together with Vinnick, Boggs, and more friends, they managed to save Peeta and some other prisoners.

 

Peeta Mellark has returned. However, Peeta has changed.Peeta has been programmed to hate and fear Katniss. After he attempts to kill her, he is kept restrained under heavy guard at all times as the rebel medics seek a way to restore him to sanity.

 

Mission President Coin keep running.Katniss and her propo team (a film crew recording her squad for rebel propaganda) are deployed on a trivial assignment to the Capitol. President Coin has sent Peeta along on the mission even though he is still dangerous and unpredictable. Katniss believes Coin wants her dead because she is impossible to control.

While filming in a purportedly safe Capitol neighborhood, the team's commander, Boggs, is killed. Subsequently, during intense urban warfare that involves Hunger Games-like monsters, most of Katniss' team mates, including Finnick, are killed. Katniss nampak putus asa, ia merasa dirinya telah membunuh banyak orang  hanya demi menjalankan misinya membunuh Presiden Snow. But  Katniss still presses alone towards President Snow's mansion. As Katniss reaches the mansion, a hoverplane drops parachutes carrying bombs that explode among a group of trapped children. The rebel medics (including Katniss' sister Prim) rush in to help the injured children but, in a deliberately inhumane strategy, a second wave of firebombs explodes, taking out the medics. Prim is killed and Katniss sustains severe burns, but the rebels succeed in taking the Capitol.

During her recuperation, Katniss is deeply depressed over her sister's death and confronts prisoner Snow. Snow claims that Coin orchestrated the bombing that resulted in Prim's death, persuasively arguing that Coin made it appear to be Snow's work to turn his supporters against him and that, if he had a hovercraft at his disposal, he would have escaped, rather than bomb the Capitol. Knowing this to be true, and acknowledging the previous agreement not to lie to one another, Katniss realizes in horror that the strategy used to kill the medics had been developed earlier by Gale. When Katniss confronts Gale about his possible involvement, he merely expresses uncertainty. Katniss becomes convinced that, rather than establishing a republic governed by representatives from each of the Districts, Coin intends to assume Snow's power and maintain the status quo.

On the day Snow is to be executed, President Coin asks the remaining Hunger Games victors to vote on punishing the Capitol just as the Capitol punished the Districts: by holding a final Hunger Games that will target the children of the Capitol's leaders. Katniss silently reflects that this is exactly the same evil the Capitol committed when the last rebellion failed. Then, she votes "yes—for Prim." Haymitch is the only one who understands her hidden meaning. They proceed to the execution, where Katniss is to shoot Snow. As she readies her bow, Snow flashes her one last smile, reminding her of his promise to always be truthful to her. Katniss silently agrees and, making her decision, she raises her bow and shoots Coin instead, killing her. Katniss immediately attempts suicide, but Peeta stops her, and she is arrested during the ensuing riot. After the riot, Snow is found dead. Katniss is acquitted of Coin's murder by reasons of insanity, and she is relocated to the ruins of her home in District 12.

Month laters, Peeta return to Districk 12. He met Katniss, but now is different because Peeta alredy recovered the memories of his love for Katniss. Katniss embraces that she loved Peeta too. In the epilogue set 20 years later, Katniss and Peeta have two children. The Hunger Games are over for good, and the children represent hope that future generations will benefit from the sacrifices of their parents. In the ends with Katniss' somber reflection that "There are much worse games to play."
